Self-employed counter Flevoland (ZLF)
Interview with Jannie van den Berg, Team Leader Self-Employed Counter Flevoland.
The subject of this podcast is: what can municipalities mean for entrepreneurs with financial problems? Guest in this podcast is Jannie van den Berg, Team Leader Self-Employed Counter Flevoland (ZLF). The ZLF is a partnership of the six Flevoland municipalities (Almere, Dronten, Lelystad, Noordoostpolder, Urk and Zeewolde).
The ZLF advises and supports starting, established, older and ending entrepreneurs in the field of entrepreneurship. This concerns sole proprietorships, but also companies with personnel. In addition, the ZLF is responsible for the implementation of the two statutory regulations Bbz 2004 (Assistance Decree for the Self-Employed Persons 2004) and IOAZ (Income Provision for Older and Partly Disabled Persons Self-Employed Persons Act).
Entrepreneurs from Flevoland who come up against financial limits can visit the ZLF website (www.selfstandigenloketflevoland.nl) Register online. After this form has been received by the ZLF employee, the person will contact the entrepreneur. If there are debts, it is first examined whether the debt can be financed by the Bbz scheme. This is a loan that the entrepreneur must repay with interest. Not every entrepreneur is eligible for the Bbz scheme. It is important that it is a viable business and that the entrepreneur can repay the loan in the future. For existing companies, the loan can be a maximum of € 190.000.
What happens if the debts are higher than the loan that can be granted? Irrespective of the amount of the debt, a company must be viable. If that is the case, a restructuring will take place via debt assistance, which will allow a restart. Debt relief in the Flevoland municipalities is free for most entrepreneurs.
If your company is not viable and you have problematic debts, you can also turn to Zuidweg & Partners and a debt settlement is possible via the ZLF.
