As a Debt Counselor / Insolvency Adviser, you are part of our Insolvency team and you work together with legal staff in guiding (former) entrepreneurs in a debt counseling process. You set out the main lines and know how to keep the overview. We are looking for someone who knows how to motivate clients and who can quickly switch between various activities.

What are you going to do?

• Conduct intake interviews and draw up an action plan;
• Assist the client in the implementation of this plan by providing guidance and information (eg on stabilization of income and expenditure);
• Inventory of debts and realization of payment arrangements;
• You will be supported by a team of legal and administrative staff in carrying out the work. Giving direction is therefore also one of your tasks.

Finally, it is appreciated if you think along with us on your own initiative and come up with suggestions for improvement!

What are we looking for in you?

• Completed HBO or WO (SJD, Law, MER) or comparable demonstrable work experience;
• Knowledge of the amicable process (for individuals and / or entrepreneurs);
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations;
• In possession of WFT Basis or willing to obtain it in the short term;
• Affinity with entrepreneurship.

Further

• It is an advantage if you have work experience in a similar position or as a debt counselor for private individuals.
