How does assistance work at Zuidweg & Partners?
Step 1: Everything starts with a personal conversation. We are happy to welcome you at our office or other intake location. During this conversation you can explain your situation to us and we will try to get a clear picture of the problems you are dealing with. At the end of this conversation we will give you direct advice with concrete solutions.
The interview will take place within two weeks after registration. If there is a crisis situation, such as the impending eviction or closure of water or energy, the conversation will take place within three days.
Step 2: We ensure that the chance of resolving the backlog is as great as possible. This means that we take care of communication with your claimants so that you can take a breather. We also look with you at the possibilities to increase your income and reduce your costs. Sometimes the bookkeeping still needs to be put in order. If this is no longer possible with your own bookkeeper or accountant, our Stichting Hulp Bij Boekhouding can be of assistance. As an entrepreneur you often have to deal with legal problems. We are also happy to assist you with this.
Step 3: We request a postponement of payment from your claimants and check the amount and legal status of the arrears.
Step 4: We will work with you to calculate what you can pay your claimants in the next three years if you quit your business and the next five years if you can continue with your business. We then enter into discussions with your claimants and offer the remediation proposal and negotiate an agreement.

What are the costs for assistance?
The costs for our guidance are often reimbursed by municipalities. We work together with 133 municipalities in the Netherlands. If you live in a municipality with which we do not yet collaborate, we will look for a solution together with you.
Assistance for employees
A good and reliable employee can get into financial trouble for all sorts of reasons. This is often due to private circumstances, such as a divorce or difficulties in selling a house, but a too high standard of living or sloppy financial administration can also be to blame. Suddenly you are confronted with wage garnishments, requests for an advance on the salary, reduced productivity and so on. Unnoticed it influences your company.
Zuidweg & Partners mediates in this type of problem for entrepreneurs and employees. As an independent mediator, we try to limit the damage for all involved and to find a (financially) feasible solution to the problems. Are you willing to support your employee? Then refer the person to our care providers and experience for yourself that your employee functions better without having to worry about money.
