Interview with Marieken Neijman, franchisee for the Personal Touch Travel formula.
The franchisee is central in this podcast. My guest is Marieken Neijman, franchisee of the Personal Touch Travel formula. Marieken has now been working as an independent travel advisor under this franchise formula for more than a year. Since it was a tricky name, she decided to choose a different, more catchy name. That was allowed by the franchisor and she chose Ikwilreisadvies.nl.
Marieken comes from the travel world and three years ago it started to itch again: she wanted to go back again, but it is very difficult to conclude contracts with the big tour operators as self-employed persons. She came into contact with Personal Touch Travel. Their formula appealed to her and suited her best.
Marieken's customers are people who do not want, cannot or do not have time to choose a trip for themselves. Marieken's approach is personal and focused on quality and service. For example, she always visits her customers so that she has a good idea of their wishes. It really is custom work.
Although Marieken is self-employed, she is not alone. There are about 130 colleagues who she can always call with questions and she regularly speaks at information evenings organized by the franchisor. Together, but not alone!
