Interview with Ralph Markwat, director of FHC Formula Management.
Franchisors are central to this podcast. My guest is Ralph Markwat, director of FHC Formula Management. Ralph says that his father started FHC Formulebeheer in 1994: franchisor in the catering industry, real estate and catering. In 2009 he took over the baton and the company changed into the formulas: Family (cafeteria with eatery function), Foodmaster (cafeteria with takeaway function) and Vital4Skool (healthy school canteens in secondary schools). FHC Formula Management is a family business, doing business at Ralph's DNA!
FHC Formula Management has 101 franchisees in 125 branches spread over 3 different concepts. Communication and consultation is very important to Ralph. That is why he regularly visits the franchisees to discuss, exchange ideas and determine the policy of the formula together.
What, according to Ralph, is the secret of FHC Formula Management? Reinforce each! Collaboration, involvement and making each other even better is the basis of success. Ralph has achieved a lot in recent years. What are the ambitions for the future? Ralph indicates that he has been nominated by the members of the Dutch Franchise Association (NFV) for the NFV Franchise Trophy, the professional prize for franchise formulas. It would be a crowning glory if they won this title. Another goal is to continue to grow and to become even more known in the market.
