The Municipality of Amsterdam supports entrepreneurs
If you do business, you probably have questions such as: what is the right next step? How do I get new customers? How can I improve my business? Or do you ever have financial worries? Are you an entrepreneur and living in Amsterdam? Then come along for an advice. The municipality of Amsterdam can always do something for you, such as financial support, coaching, advice and debt counseling.
"Sometimes one conversation is enough"
Jany Alvares, advisor to the Entrepreneur Support department: “Entrepreneurs are used to doing things themselves. Usually that goes well, but sometimes it doesn't work alone. For example, a large order is unexpectedly canceled. Or you get sick. In such a situation you can call us for a consultation. Maybe we can match you with an entrepreneur coach or temporarily supplement your income. Many entrepreneurs find it difficult to ask for help, they believe that it is part of entrepreneurship to solve problems yourself. I think that's a shame. Sometimes one conversation is enough.
Everyone is welcome. Is it not going well for a while and you are not able to solve it yourself? During the consultation I look at what we can do for you. ”
What does the consultation involve?
The municipality will make an appointment with you to look together at the bottlenecks of the company and what you will run into when running the company. The conversation can, for example, be about customer decline, disappointing figures, changes in the market and about yourself. The purpose of the conversation is to work with you to map out what is going on and where the possible solutions can be found.
The Municipality of Amsterdam offers entrepreneurs the following options:
- Individual guidance by an experienced entrepreneur coach and / or workshops in the areas of marketing, finance, sales and social media
