Alternative financing: the SME Restart Fund

In this video, Jacqueline explains what options you have if your business is viable, but you can't get financing anywhere. The safety net for entrepreneurs is the so-called Bbz scheme (Decree on assistance for the self-employed).
You may not be eligible for such a Bbz credit, for example if your partner has an income above assistance level. Then you are not eligible, while your company is viable. The province of Flevoland recognizes this and therefore created the so-called MKB Doorstartfonds in 2014, a fund in which around 2 million euros is available and from which loans are provided to companies that would otherwise have had to close their doors.
